B18 right? Complete swap? Hmm... $400 for the motor. $250 trans and shift linkage, $250 mount kit, $50 ecu. Thats what I think..

I wish I could tell you for sure, but all I know is if it is out of a 90 LS, its probably a B18A. If its out of a 94-2000 LS its a B18B.

WRONG!

If thats in a 90 hatch, it IS a ZC... Look at the mounts man! Those are stock! I think someones tryin to jack/get over on you! I believe the 90 integra's had D16A1's anyway... Which looks alot like the ZC so it could be that... But Im pretty sure its not a B anything... IMO :bandit:

Yo dawg... If it says D on the first letter of the motor code (or Z) it will go right in der on your stock mounts OR on the mounts that go with the motor... No prob dude...

The engine in the picture is definitely a ZC. The valve cover on the LS motor looks similar, but it is not the same.

And, like Seth 90/dx mentioned, the motor mounts are the stock Civic mounts, and a B-series or LS motor does not bolt in without a mount kit or hacking off and rewelding mounts.

But, Seth is wrong about 90 Integras having a D- series motor. 86-89 Tegs had D-series motors. ALL USDM 90-93 Integras had the B18A(LS) or B17 (GS-R). 94+ Tegs had either the B18C(GS-R) or the B18B (LS).

If you were really buying a 90 Integra motor, and not the ZC in the picture, the prices that Kris posted would probably be about right.

I still can't tellthe difference between engines without looking at the code on the block. That is the easiest way to find out for sure.

I didn't know what year the integras were, but I knew what engines went in the 90-93(now i know for sure what years), and the 94-2000.

Yer right... 90+ integra's were "B" ass motors... My bad... But uh, fawk a B18a/b or B17 I'de go with a ZC anyway! Fuck Vtec it aint all that great, anyway B18a/b and b17 dont have it. If you spent the extra couple hundred dollars on a "VTEC" motor you could have bought a ZC that 1. blots right in and 2. you can spend the rest of the money you would have spent on mounts engine ecu and everything els you would have spent putting a son of a "B" motor in der and spend it on HI CR pistons some good rods short/long depends on how you like to drive (personaly I like shorter ones ) shoot you could prolly get a nice P&P on the head for the cost of the mechanic you would have had to pay to put in the motor (Because the ZC swap is so fuckin easy, you wont need a mechanic... newb or not) IMO

I can get a B18A1 block, tranny, ecu, wire harness, and drive axles for 500 bucks. Im not a giant fan of the ZCs, just don't seem like they have enough power, IMO. I don't mind doing a little bit extra work putting motor mounts in.

Thats because you never put cams Hi comp pistons and shorter (better) rods in one... They actualy make more HP per MOD than ANY honda motor (yes even the type R's)
