Unhappy Zc In Heat!!

OKay OKay... I need some help here people.. i have a ZC motor, just freshly swapped about a month ago.
Yesterday morning the heater in my car was only getting warm.. NOT HOT. That afternoon i was driving home and the car started to over heat so i pulled over and turned it off, then started it again and it was at normal temp until about 4th gear and it overheated again. it did this all the way home so i ended up rollin home at 20mph.
I called the mechanics and talked to all my friends.. they said it was the thermostat.. so i replaced it this morning.... No Luck... it still overheats and now the engine light comes on..
Also i have a new water pump.. and a new radiator.. i dont know what else it could possibly be.. and now the air in the car doesnt heat up at all, its just blowing cold air.. if that means anything.

this is how i feel!

did you replace the water pump and radiator yourself? if so did you bleed the cooling system...there might be air in the cooling system casue the coolant to dissapear which in turn causes over heating.

To bleed the cooling system, follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. You see a lil thing like a bolt with a hole in it. loosen it and fill the cooling system until it flows out of that with no bubbles. Then tighten it and fill everything to spec.

To bleed it you can also just take off the radiator cap when the engine is cold and turn on the car and let it bleed itself.

My DX did that then the head gasket blew and the head cracked.

It could just be your thermostate. Does the upper rad hose get hot after the engine is warmed up? If it gets hot then the thermostate is ok. If it wont get hot then you need a new thermostate, only a $10 part.

If your thermostate is ok then it could be you head gasket. If thats the case dont drive your car or you will screw up the head like I did

it could also be your coolant temp sensor.

Thumbs up ZC Power

Hell yeah dude, ZC is killer! I should've done internals on mine but it was really a spur of the moment swap.
Now i can keep up with B16's with no problem!
