Decided to join the crowd and hit someone

Well I had my luck run out today. It snowed last night and I was on this road that was covered in snow and a guy was in front of me and the car just drifted over and BAM! front bumper and headlight and hood are fucked and the brace behind the light is pushed back about 2 inches. So the rex is out of commision for a while.

All of that will have to be replaced does anyone know how much that will be in a ballpark figure?

the bitch thing isnt really the parts, its gonne be the body work to get that brace replaced. i think maybe 2700 is a bit on the high side, but definatly somewhere near 2k. good luck bro.

No one is doing the work for me. I am then I wil have it painted. I only need a bumper, headlight and a hood. The brace can be bent back and if not its not hurting anything right now.
Does anyone know where I can get these parts? I know that a few of you have hoods as I posted about a new one a few days ago. Those that did can you give me a price?

man, that really sucks! snow is evil! good thing you're all right

when i wrecked my front end i found some good deal. to give you an idea, i paid:

$50 x's 2 for both '90 fenders
$35 for JDM clear corners (+sidemarkers)
$65 new bumper support
$103 new radiator (life time warrenty)
$50/hr x's 5 hrs on framerack (car was apart when it got there so it was all pulling time )

i also got the WW kit which i am now pulling off. EF_LSVtec was kind enough to sell me a hood and some other parts for $50. then melt strapped it on his roof rack and drove it up . fenders could be found cheaper but he hooked me up with the sidemarkers so, i didn't complaine.

yesterday right in front of victorian's preschool the lady infront of us rear ended another mom who was turning into the school. after picking vic back up, on the way home, an old lady almost side swiped us and then almost ran a red light and locked her brakes up. 1 mile from there a Rottwieler jumped out infront of a Chevy full sized truck. it literally jumped out. truck hit it so hard the dog spun arpund in the air and landed beside my car. it's a dang good thing jer was off yesterday morning and driving. if it were me...my luck would have gotten me: the middle car in a 6 car pile up, drivers side swiped by grandma, and pass. side taken out by a big ass dog.

i was dazed when we got home....thinking: WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?

Great thing about that is it kept my car in the shade the entire trip, cause I hadnt had my A/C fixed yet.

Well called around. There is one (1) junkyard with a CRX and they dont know whats been taken off of it. So it looks like I will have to steal a headlight from a 90civic (that will work right?) and buy an aftermarket bumper. I m thinking of going with a blitz bumper. And for the hood. I will try to find one but if I cant then I will just get a carbon fiber one.
