Talking I got it to fade!!!

I did it! This is the body for my '69 Mustang Super Cobra Jet. I faded it from Flourescent Green to Black. And without any orange peel! This one is almost done. Pic below.

IMO it should be more black than green, maybe a diagonal fade along the C-pillar.

Nice job, did you use airbrush or spraycan?

Airbrush. The green is a lot darker in person than in the pics for some reason. It's too bright to me also looking at the pics, but in person, it looks just right. Still have to darken the panel lines and such, plus paint the window trim and door handels. I like it.

Even though you are tying to achieve a fade effect, nice job BTW, you could make the border between the colors a bit less uniform and add a border of bright orange fading to red. Like the green paint is being burnt off from the intense speed of the car.
