Gt40

This is my Fujimi GT40 which i built a good few years back, the decals have faded a little from catching too many rays I had to settle for this version as there were no more of the Gulf sponsered kit. Fujimi produced an excellent kit and captured the lines beautifully, unfortunately there's no engine and has a very simple interior, but then so did the real thing. The kit has some nice etched parts, most noticeable being the mesh at the rear which really adds to the realism.

As you can tell, i love this kit and highly recommend it

The Master himself at work!

You've done a great job on that. I have one myself and was willing to sell that kit, but you convinced me that I should keep it and build it myself

Beautifull!

Chris,
The GT40 looks great
I also wanted the Gulf version, but I only managed to find the yellow Daytona version(as driven at Daytona by Bruce Mclaren).
Looking at yours I think I have to move mine up on the build list, then hopefully I can do nearly as good a job as you.

Ray

Great job on one of my all time favorite cars. I love the all versions of this car but especially the Gulf Mirage GT40. I was fortunate(and old enough)to see Ford GT's in action at Watkins Glen in 1969 and they had the 69 Lemans winner on display at the Glen which was about a month after Lemans. Truly one of the greatest GT cars of all time. There is a source in the US for an engine and all rear suspension and axles needed to detail this kit which is done in resin. It's very good quality. If anybody is interested let me know.

Think my shop has a Gulf GT40. I must pick it up now that I've seen your GT-40 version

If it had an engine I would buy it for $65AUSD (!) but it doesn't, then again I could put one of my spare 351Cs in it..... I'll look into it, anyway that looks awesome Fly, we rarely see any of your kits but you make them look bloody good thats for sure!
