Hey, I just bought a 1990 Nissan 240sx with an automatic transmission. I've been reading around on different websites about the horsepower/torque of the engine. Some sites tell me 140 hp 155 torque, some others tell me 155 hp 160 torque. If someone could clear this up for me i'd be greatful

they're probably both correct, remember when you dyno FR layout (Front engine Rear wheel drive) you lose around 15% power through the transfer.
The engine hp could be around 155, and dyno hp around 140. Also depending on the year it could be a lil different also. |

your car has the first set of numbers. The sohc 240sx's had 140 hp and about 155 torque. Those were sold between '89 and '90. 91+ models had 155hp and 160lbs/ft. They were dohc.
