Clear Coat help

I have a little problem applying the clear coats to the car with decals. How do you prevent the decals from shrivelling up and bubbling? Apply really light coats? Please advise.

Yes. Very light mist coats for the first 3-5 coats. You have to slowly work up a barrier so the lacquer doesn't attack the decals...
