comparison gsr & itr

Im trying to choose between an ITR or a GSR, but I don't know which one to choose from. How close whould a ITR and a Turbo GSR be in a 1/4 mile, top speed, 0-60? would a gsr be better or just as good than a type r if i put about 7 grand in mods into the gsr and getin a type r stocked? (all i am trying do to is spend about the same amount of money)

Tough to say. I do know that if you are going turbo, the GS-R is a better choice, as it makes better power under boost (the overlap dialed into the ITR's valvetrain aids in power when all motor, but loses power once you have the added benefit of forced induction).

from my knowledge, ITR runs mid 14s in a quarter mile, 0-60 in 6.4sec. A Gsr turbo at about 7psi (about 280hp at crank) will do quartermiles in the mid or low 13s, and 0-60 in 5.5-5.9sec. It just depends if the driver can keep the tires from slipin. If you have a GSR or ITR you would know that that you get a chirp, going from first to second. With an extra 100hp boost that might = lost of power.
