Corner lense removal on 4th gen accord

Sup guys, I was washing my moms car today when I noticed the left bumper lense looked messed up, so I checked to see if it still lit up and it did, but noticed that the light in the right corner lense had burned out, how do I fix this, I removed the screw on the top, but the lense wont budge still and I dont see anyway to install a new bulb with the lens still in place. I have had this problem before when installing clears on a friends 4th gen accord and he just broke the lenses to get em out, but I dont really feel like buying my mom a new lens AND new bulbs so someone plz help me out.

I sound like a complete n00bie dont i?

Re: Corner lense removal on 4th gen accord

on my 4th gen, the light had the screw on the top, along with 2 prongs that went into the car. slide the lens straight forward, in the direction the car is facing. i broke one of them when i was taking the stock ones out, but got the other out without breaking it. you might be able to get the bulb out without taking the lens out, but only if you have tiny sweatshop hands. good luck, and if you break it, just use it as an excuse to get her some nice euro clears.

i had the same problem with my corners i wound up breaking one of them and severely cracking the other. but prying them out is about the only way i know how to get them out. its one of those damned if you do and damned if your don't situations. That just goes to show you its all a cospiracy to get you to buy more parts so they get more money.

jus keep pulling til it comes out. go as straight out as possible...but still wiggle it back an forth a lil. its not that big of a deal if u break one of the corners, they are about 10 bucks for a pair, an look a lot cleaner.
