Exaust .

Alright so i give my dad my car for a day . He said he was going to go do some errans and such . Turns out he comes home with an exaust on my car , it was pretty chill , cuz ive been talkin bout one for weeks. Well the one he bought for some reason according to Pepboys, meineke etc. Cannot get a silencer .Im telling you , this exaust when goin from 0-60 on the highway is one of the loudest things , it drowns out the bass of my music and everything . I mean around town short acceleration is not bad at all , but on the highway its rough . Is there any way to rig a silencer in it ...or a place that might have a part . Its a 4" single tip.

Oh yeah! Lucky you, your dad supports you on this. Anyway, same thing I've been asking, though right now it's not a priority since my annoying neighbor has left me alone. Hopefully for good. For anyone wondering, here's a view of my car from side-back:

Go back to Pep boys and have them install a resonator. That will get rid of a lot of that annoying high pitch noise.

A resonator will still take the edge off it.

hey Milliardo how come your exhaust is installed at such an angle? Did you ask for it like that or did the kit come like that or did they have to install it like that. No offense or anything.

They installed it like that. The humps here can get so high in some places that if it were straight, the exhaust will stick farther out, and it will scrape the ground often, so it's angled. Most Civics with my type of exhaust here are angled because of that reason.

Wrong! In the past two months, Turbo magazine did a review of 12 top brand exhausts. The Greddy EVO is the ONLY exhaust to have a lower sound level at 3,000 RPM than at idle. 94db at idle and 93 at 3k. Yeah....
