Question what wheel lugs for 00Si wheels on 00 LX?

I'm a little new to this, I have a 00 LX that I'm putting 00 Si wheels on. Do I need 'regular' or 'cone' lugs? Which size? I've still got the stock steelies which I assume will have a different lug size/look.

Thanx

I'm not for sure, but I think the same lug nuts will work for you. I'll ask a friend who has si wheels on his car when he gets online in a couple hours just to be sure though.

Kicker,

I appreciate the help. Could you also ask about wheel locks please? I'm looking at getting McGard and I'm told I should get M12 x 1.5. Does this sound right? Thanx for all the help. Whn I get the wheels on (hopefully tomorrow) I'll post some pics.

Thanx

you will need spherical or ball end lugs. cone styles are for most aftermarket wheels.

I used Mcgard Splinedrive lugs. the thread is 12x1.5

I GOT THEM ON! To end any confusion, I needed 12 x 1.5 cone (or conical) lugs. I got a set that had locks in it too, but I'll probably buy some McGard's soon. These seem to only have a few keys so they're easier to steal.

Let me just say how much I dislike Discount Tire in Los Angeles. It took FOR-EV-ER to get my damn wheels on. I was in there at one point and there were 8 people in line and the service tech's hadn't helped anyone in 20 minutes!!! Seriously!! Anyway, after all of that I got them on. I'm at work right now but I'll post some pics tomorrow. Thanks for all you help everyone

There all the same from like 88' and up thru 03. Possibly even the 84-87's also..... there all interchangable on the civics. the little black plastic rings around the lug nuts come off so you can use them on most A/M wheels also....unless they dont fit the wheel....

SON OF A BITCH!

Now I'm really pissed!! The guy at Discount Tires said the lugs from my 00 LX stock wheels wouldn't work on the SI wheels. He made me drive to Pep Boys and buy a whole new set ($30)!! On top of that (I forgot to mention) they blindsided me on the cost of the tires. Over the phone they said they were $50 a piece. Then I get there and they say $49.95. After they're all done and I have to pay the invoice says $60 a piece. When I asked them what was going on they said that "That's the price in the computer, you must have heard wrong." Needless to say they'll be getting a phone call tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to control THE VOLUME OF MY VOICE!!

Discount Tires

Also (on a side note) I read on a post here somewhere that they would price match TireRack.com. They don't. But I figured as much, it was too good to be true.
