Hi,
Recently, my antenna seems to have some problems. The radio reception is terrible when I drive further away from the city - and I'm not even that far away.. ie 15 miles away. When I go under small bridges, all I get for a moment is noise. I suspect there is a short, but I don't know much about this. How do I go about debugging where the problem is? I looked in my Civic service manual and it doesn't say anything about debugging. The wires look hard to get to as well. Any ideas/tips? Thanks, S. |

it may have become disconnected from the back of the radio. Also, some headunits have a local/dx switch - make sure it is on DX (distant). The local position lowers the level to prevent front-end overload.
