Is there any such thing as an import scene in Kentucky??

I just found out that I'm moving to Kentucky for dental school, and I'm wondering if there are any 4thgenners out there, or if they even have much of an import scene. Anyone from out that way???

I dunno, when I rolled through wyoming a couple of months ago I was convinced that I had the only modded import (or import at all) in the entire state, all I kept seeing was pickup trucks and semis and shit.

i go to kentucky sometimes because i have relatives over there. there isn't much for imports. you'll see some imports in louisville but outside of the few big cities there isn't anything. it is pretty much redneck country out there. good luck.

Where do you live at? I am moving to Louisville, or at least, that's where the school is.

Bowling Green has an ok import scene.. I mean don't expect a line up of cars up and down the street (as seen on tv(the fast and the furious)) But there are quite a few here... It's about 4 hours south of lousiville though.. So it won't make much difference to you..

Also, to the guy who called it red-neck country... you must have visited hazard county or something because kentucky is just as normal as any other place in the world.. contrary to popular belief, we have more normal people than "rednecks"..

Don't hate on us.. We aren't limited by law... Come to Kentucky and you can add any mods you want!

I live in southern Indiana and there is very little import scene here. The only people in the area that I am in that have imports are me and another guy that has a civic 2dr thats an automatic. There are others that have ground effect kits and shit but nothing done to the engine.

In kentucky there isnt much unless you goto louisville. I live about 100miles away so I dont go there much.

Also there are very few rednecks in KY unless you get into the mountains.

Exactly..... I should take some more "around town" pics to show you all.. we actually have quite a few quick imports here... I know of 3 different mid-11 second DSMs (two 1g eclipses and 1 2g eclipse) and 2 11 Second Hondas (1 91 CRX and one 99 SI)

Also, on the "Show" side we have a lot of people who show their cars out.. the funny thing is some aren't planning on going to shows.. but you wouldn't believe them if they told you!

During the college semesters we have even more out-of-town cars that are on the streets.. Its actually pretty surprising how many we have this year compared to 2 years ago...
