Anyone any good with DVD Players?? HELP!!

Ive seen this item on ebay and want to purchase it, but the problem is that im in the UK and dont understand anything about "Regions" concerning DVD Players. Can anyone tell me if this item is limited to use in the US or can i use it in the UK, in other words "Multi Region" Theres a link to the full spec below.

On the up side, it does play CD's VCD's MP3's etc so i could always use it for that and purchase US DVD titles. Any help would greatly be appreciated., even better if you know anyone whos got one.

Well you're out of luck buddy if you're getting it from that guy. At the bottom of that link you provided he specifically states that he is selling in the U.S. only. No international shipments. But, in answer to your region question, I don't see where it says anything about region. The only thing that I can say about UK and US is that the plugs you guys use for AC connections is different from ours, I believe. The only reason I say this is because I have a friend that bought an RC from over there and the charger had the plug different. We had to buy another U.S. charger. So I don't know if the plug on this unit would fit your sockets over there.

ntsc code or whatever is different between the US and Europe. you need to get one from Asia in order to be able to see your region videos, I think.

what ever u do make sure u get one that is multi region, or one that can easily be converted to one, cause I got one a Kenwood, which isn't US compatiable therefore any Dvds from US or that are outside this region cannot be viewed....a right pain in the asss.......

.re the different plugs doesn't realy matter much cause U can easily get an adapter

Luke might be able to ship it to me along with the nizmo grill, so getting it isnt the problem. The power supply thing, i shoulod be able to get a 12 volt adapter from here that has a plug that fit the Player, so that should be ok too. My main concern is, will it play multi region DVD's

can't say haven't come across that make b4....I assume you've searched for their website if they have one that might help.......or e-mail the guy whose sellin it and ask him, he should know:silly2: hopefuly:bandit:

ive tried to email this guy, but he dont seem interested at all. i havent had a chance to check up on the make yet, if you got sometime, see what you can find out.

I have seen this make and it is decent I wouldnt go claiming miracles with it but it will get you by, they also sell in dash tv's for your car & some other goodies like flat screen for the seat's.

The prce the guy is selling for on e-bay is good its below the prices I have seen them at my wholesaler were i can get all those items.

I have seen some show cars with this brand & those people said they are satisfied with the quality!!!!

redvalkrie - would you happen to know if it'll play UK dvd's? i think its classed as Region 2, just so im not stuck for buying US only dvd's. I thought about copying cd and dvd's too, if it claims it can play CD-R and Writeable CD's, i should be able to use stuff from my PC like Mpegs etc.

BTW did you know there is a DVD player burner out already I have found it on the net but I havent purchased it cause I am in the process of moving!!!!

But its reasonably priced a little over $400.00 us.

revalkrie is right that price is very good....have seen them advertised on sites from $299+...but couldn't find any that say wether it is Multi region or UK compatiable......

i do want it, but dont wanna be stuck with it if it doesnt work out properly, so thats why im trying to get info on it before hand. Im itching to buy it online now, but i'll wait till you get the info on saturday.

Ive seen anpother one, this mustr be the second generation model and it only $179.00 thats $10 cheaper than the one before.
