84-87 CRX Short Shifter.

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a knock-off Short Shifter for a 84-87 CRX because I don't think it will be worth it to buy a DC one because I don't want to put a lot of money into this because I am going to be getting a 2nd gen CRX. But I want something to play with until then. Will the 92-95 civic short throw fit? If so I can just get one of those and put it in. Please let me know when you can thank you.

You can make one for free if you have access to a welding contraption.

I am currently using one on my '86 sedan from a 88-91 Civic/CRX
The ball is slightly bigger, so it doesnt sit firmly, but the throw was shortened insanely.
And it cost like $15.....
