1990 Chevy Lumina 3.1 L 140,000
on the driver side door where you insert the key there is a small light around they key hole. the small light stays on all the time. it cause the battery to discharge and or not start the car. i was concerned as to what causes the little light around the key hole to stay on all the time. today the car had to be jumped because there was no juice left to start engine. |

you must be talking about the Lumina APV van and not the lumina car.
The lock cylinder has a switch on built into it. My guess is the switch is causing the problem. you will need to take the door panel off and start testing the wires. hope this helps |
