Goddamn electric wiring!!!

Man this is ridiculous. All hondas seem to have some electric problems that develop with time, usually little things go out like some lights somewhere on the dash.....
But now my rear right window doesnt work. And its not the electric motor, because every once in approx. 4-5 months when i go over some pretty beat up rail road tracks, and i push the button the window works but only for a little while. I disasembled my door and checked if theres any current in the cable that delivers juice to the motor, and it doesnt!. And tracing the wire all the way to underneath the dashboard and findingh where its loose would be too time consuming. Worst of all, last time when the window worked it was really cold outside and i made the mistake of screwing around with it, so it gave up on me in open position and then it started raining....

Another problem aside from the heater control lights being out, is one of my tail lights doesnt work right. The bulb glows when i have my beams on, but when i press the brakes it doesnt glow brighter. And its not hte bulb, ive checked it.

Hey if anyone has ever had these probs, and fixed them, let me know where u found the problem pls.

I feel your pain brother, especially with all the aftermarket wiring I have in my car.

Here's what you do...breathe deep, in through the nose and out the mouth, have a beer, and put on your favorite CD.

Then, take the time, and take the dash off and trace that wire. And while you're at it and the dash is off (which really isnt that hard) check everything else just to be sure and to save yourself from having to remove the dash n such in the future.

Your tailight, got the bulb in correctly? I once had the same problem turns out I put the bulb in wrong and went nuts for an hour trying to figure out what was wrong?

Wiring is really one of the easiest things to do after any high school physics class, the problem is theres a lot of things between switch and cool stuff that can come apart easy.

Unfortunately, the best thing is to just take the time, buy your self a wiring kit, and do everything right and tightly.

Good luck man, seriously I feel your pain, try wiring in a PA system - oi!

Thanks for the advice yo
Nah i wish it was the bulb, it can only go one way in cuz it had thsoe two things sticking out the side and one is higher up than the other so thers only one way you can screw it in. Ive double checked everything, i have a few bulbs i tryed them all out and it still doesnt work.
And i got so much otehr stuff to do on my car, like tomorrow im dedicating my whole day from 7am till night, that i probably wont have time to take the whole dash apart at least till summer comes around.....
btw whats a PA? some kind of sound system?

Seriously, pulling the dash isnt that hard, and you'd probably only have to pull the bottom half for your window and lights. Total time = 1 afternoon.

a PA system? Public Announcement - I have a loud speaker mounted behind the grill in front of my car. It's neat, it makes animal noises and siren noises and stuff. We used to use it to advertise on campus for our fraternity parties.
