Anyone here have a broken wheel stud?

I had one, and tried and tried and tried some more, but couldn't figure out how to get the new one in, so I bought a stud, took it to big-o tires, and told them that i didn't have time to do it, and they charged me $8 and did it while i waited. I don't even know how they did it, but it was worth the $8!!:flash:

I had three broken on the EX and the tire place I go to was gonna swap them out for me when I took it in for my full alignment... free of charge if I bought the studs which I did. they are like .99 at AutoZone

you need to push them out from the front with like a screwdriver and a hammer, so they fall out behind the hub, then just slip the new one into place.

Put a little grease on them, always use a torque wrench to install the nuts and NEVER install them with an impact wrench. They'll last forever, even in the rust belt.

Or u can use an open lug nut and tightened the lug nut so that way ur pulling the wheel stud back in place. The easiest way for me!
