hotshot header

I've been thinking about getting a Hotshot header for my G20 but i've heard that it doesnt have holes for the 0xygen sensors, what does everyone do about those. Also is it difficult to install. I might just get it professionally installed. How much do you guys think it would cost if I went to a shop to get it installed?

Tell whoever told you that to take their head out of their butt.

Of course it comes with the O2 sensor bung. It also comes with the AIV and EGR bungs (threaded fittings). It also comes with a allen screw to plug the AIV if your car does not have the AIV valve.

The Hotshot header is the best one available for the SR20.

i got mine just fitted saturday and its really good. try www.motivational.net ask for mike cos he sorted me out, tell him Kevin from England UK sent you. He should be able to ship to NZ if he can ship to the UK.
And it does have the sensor hole, three of them infact, i had to plug up two of em, but the kit only had one blank, but luckily, i had some spare part lying around and got something that fitted nicely.

If you order from Mike at Motivational, be sure to tell him your car does not have EGR so you need two plugs. Mike should be able to accomodate you. If he doesn't, let me know and I'll make sure you are taken care of by someone.

You may also check with Glen "Lumpy" Campbell in OZ. I posted his e-mail address and his web site in another thread. I know he's a JWT dealer so he can get the Hotshot header (JWT sells Hotshot) and he may even deal direct with Hotshot. Lumpy is a good bloke and I know he can take care of you. If you contact him, tell him I sent you.

how much for a header for a 2000 model?

Oh and on another subject, how much for a 3" AEM bypass valve??

Obviously i'm looking for a good deal, i'm nothing but a poor stuggling college student with an unhealthy desire to fix up my car

Well the first thing you need is a FSM (Factory Service Manual). Then you need tools. For the first little bit you'll spend as much on tools as you will on having your parts installed.

Anyway I just started with the easy stuff, POP Charger, changing oil, short shifters, dash kits. Then you move up to the harder stuff like suspensions, headers, cams, etc. You'd be surprised how easy it is. I think the biggest hurdle to get over is the fear of f'in up. Also having the proper tools and someone with mechanic experience helps too. Researching the install instructions and looking on se-r.net mailing archives for what others have said about whatever installation you're attempting is always a good idea.
