Restarted - RX7 Savanna

Hey, Im not sure if you remember it, but I showed some pictures of it b4 it was finished. It was Black with AVS model 5's on it. I never got aorund to finishing it and I did'nt like th finish on it so Im doing it over. Here it is. So far I Shaved the Door Handles and fixed a large crack on the top of the car. I also Cleared the fron bumper. It had The Bar across then the other ones coming down. It looked ugly IMO. Here's the pics... Tell me what you think so far

I remember those pics when it was black and it looks better now. Are you gonna paint it black again or are you going with a different color?

btw could you tell me how you make your exhausts out of straws. Thanks.

Hey JE, I no longer have MSN messanger so I havent talked to you in a while. I just painted it BOYD Black and Blue Pearl. I really like the color. Its like a Purplish-Blue Metallic Color. BOYD is just like Testors but supposively better.

As for the exhaust, I got a Big Straw (From Arby's).. I then cut the big straw to equivelent size of a can. Then I got the can part and got Sculpey Clay and make it about 3cm thick. I then got the end of the straw and pushed it through the clay. Then I filled through the other side of it with more clay Then I got the small Diameter straw. Ones in packs at the Grocery Store. I got the Little Straw and cut it to the size of a tip. Then I got the tip and pushe it into the side of the exhaust that i pushed through the clay until it was right size. Then I spayed it Plastikote Chrome Silver. Easy and Affective.

Thanks for telling me the setup that you use for exhausts. I plan on making one for my ITR if I ever get around to building it.

Keep us posted on the RX7.
