I will sell you mine for for $10 + shipping. It's used, but in great shape.

But as for the one pictured. I'm not sure what it's for.

that sure looks like it's ment for the sedan. have you tried looking on ebay or asking around for a front bumper? there are a couple of junkyard rats up in here who might be able to find one for ya

Dang, I just noticed you had a 89. You would need the 90/91 bumper lights, which I could include for another $10. They look tons better too.

So the 90-91 bumper would bolt up to an 88-89? I was under the impression that you needed to change the bumper support for that. What color is your bumper?

As far as I know, it fits fine. Whats different are the fenders.

But if someone can verify that, that would be good.

The fender is just plain old, unpainted black. Just like on a DX.

that was always my understanding. when i had to replace my bumper support we got a brand new one and i seem to remeber it was 88-91. the 88-89 and the 90-91 have different bumper turn signal lights and thats about it. the real difference is in the fenders as kris mentioned. even those fit with little mod. we were able to fit the 90 fenders on my 89 with only new corner lights. was able to keep the 89 headlights.

The bumper off the Sedan will work, i got one on mine, took it off an 89 dx or si sedan, but i know it fits, just look for an 88 or 89 sedan at a j/y or a hatch and it'll work, or just order that one off the net but for sure it'll work on you car cuz i have an 89 hatch also... great project cars eh? haha

Alright, just to settle this topic up. When I went home later that day after work I relized that the bumper currently on the car is infact a 90' sedan bumper. It is about a 1/2 inch too wide and the sides stick out after the fender about a 1/2 inch. So I ordered a 89 bumper (btw sedan and hatchback are the same part# for 88-89) for $37.00 and no shipping from this place http://www.partscomponents.net This was an awsome deal considering every other online place wanted ~$50 bux and ~$60 bux to ship. I already got the bumper and it looks like its a fine piece. I havent got the new bumper/corner lights yet so I havent been able to test fitment yet. I'll update fitment if anyone cares to know. Thanks for all your help, I'm gonna be working on this thing for awhile so I'm sure you'll see me some more.

Thumbs up Bumpers!!!

Hi peeps.

This is an excellent thread for me. As some of you may remember, I got whacked in the back end a couple of weeks ago.

Well..the father of the kid that hit me didn't want to go thru insurance (my guess is that it was prolly pretty pricey for them already, since they have 2 teen-age sons), so I took his check for the amount of the body shop estimate. Now, I can use that money to fix it up the way I want.

What this means is: I have a DX..why not replace my DX bumpers with LX/EX parts since I have some $$ to do that??

Anyone with hookups on the dark (charcoal??) grey bumpers for a sedan, holler at me. mdmncivic, (haha, I never get your username right ) ..you and I have already PMed some, I'll prolly be contacting you again about your rear EX bumper.

BTW - how the hell do we get to our Private Messages without getting an e-mail with a link - is there a section on AF that links there??

Update - haha..OK..I found my PM's - :alien2:
and mdnnccivicrcr - I think I finally figured out your username so I can correctly type it now
