first year efi 85? NOT!

84 was the first year for efi.I believe it was the last half of the year that they started putting it on the pickups.I have a 84 sr5 xtra cab with efi and it was manufactured in august 84 and is an 84 model.I do have trouble at the parts houses getting efi parts for my year.It is a factory efi though..

Re: 85 Yota

i have an 85 single cab longbed, 22r, 5-spd. i am very happy with it. i am swapping the engin for the 22r-e and am looking a a fiberglass bed, fenders, and hood. i have had 4 cars and i think that the toyota mini truck suits me better. my truck has over 213,000 miles on it and is still racking up more everyday

Re: 85 Yota

ah...84, 85, its still a toyota... its all good.

i have an 85 (don't really care the month) supped up. you gotta love the solid front axel though, i have friends who have ..."magically" stumbled upon solid axels and hve put them on their 90s model toys. gotta love that.

Re: 85 Yota

1985 yotas are a good year but the best yota would have to be a extened cab SR5 V6 with the box cut down. plus you need lift and all the basic to make the master YOTA!!!
