North Korea

How does the situation with N. Korea present itself to you? I myself feel that though the US may be a bit power hungry, N. Korea is still a little too hostile. I don't think the results of the disagreement will be war because it would be too disasterous, but one thing is assured, a struggle may insue. Anyhoo, simply my thoughts.

I'm figuring that a war with North Korea would not be an urgent priority for the U.S. administration right now.After all,the world knows that these guys have the capacity to build weapons of mass destruction,and they don't have any oil.I'm amused by the idea that they have said that they would view U.N. sanctions as a declaration of war.Suddenly the rest of the world votes to wage war on Korea?

I think there could be an armed conflict; the Korean nukes can only reach china, india, and japan. So, the Amercians could strike with impunity.
I can see the N. Korean president in front of a red button, "I swear to god, bush, ill do it! I'll take out Japan!"

Actually, their delivery system can reach Alaska and Hawaii. The rest of the continental US is out of range for the time being.

Hmmm, didnt know that. Still, Alaska is not worth attacking, Hawaii is; which is good, IMO. That way, they wont attack N. Korea; I firmly believe that war is bad.

i think bush is acting like the police officer of the world, If iraq has nuclear bombs then they will bomb us with them on the first day we attack them, bush has his head up his ass and cant see this, thats what sucks about these people with high school education, they dont see things like we do! Korea will bomb us too if we atack them, we cant sit here and think that they wont cuz these guys probably will, in the most part we will attack iraq , bush will spend all his time there on the boats acting like he cares about our army but in real life he is just doing it for pure politicts cuz he wants to get relected next year! He wont cuz he hasnt done any thing for the economy I live in NC and my county used to be the #1 furniture producer in the world, but now china is, and my county is left with a 11% unemployment rate!

George Bush Snr. did what was neccesary in Iraq without starting the Third World War.He has my respect for that.His son is a clown by comparison,an embarrassment to his father's name,and an obsessive.The sooner you guys vote him out of the White House,the better.

Uhm, without trying to sound like a total wanker, I know a bit more than most, being military n all, there's a lot i obviously cant share, but I feel that the Iraq crisis is being handled very well, he's been OVERLY diplomatic, and has given him more time than is due. And if they were just after a straight out fight, why did they wait til Saddamm eventually said, "Ok come over. honest we havent used the stalling time to hide weaponry." One thing also that the media has forgotten is Iraq also were given a do or die request in terms of their CLAIMED biological weaponry destruction. Not once have they given PROOF they have carried out the steps required to disarm themselves of these sorts of weapons. Now if he wantys to have 0.1% of a threat with chemical or bio weapons then I say flatten that motherf#$*er!!! Ask the people I work with what they fear about war, its not bullets, or bombs, or knives, its gas and bio agents, the shit you dont see that makes ur mate drop dead before you can say "whats wrong?" And as for north korea, Bush already gives so much aid he basically plans to cut it back, therefore starving them.
