Put in a new battery - now the car won't start. The security light is in the continuous blink mode. I've checked every fuse and fusible link and I even disconnected the theft control module. Nothing works. It's getting kind of embarassing to push start an Infiniti. Thanks for any help.

When you try to turn on the car, does the engine crank? or does it not make any noise at all. If your engine does crank, it's not your engine kill switch. Did you charge the battery before you put it in? you sometimes don't have to, but sometimes you do depending on how long the battery has been sittin at the store

Just a click - but not the clickclickclickclickclick like a low battery. I wish it would crank. The horn's good and the headlights are good so I didn't check the voltage. I'll give it a try. This is driving me insane.

Well, since it's just a click, that probably is the engine kill switch. Do you have keyless entry? try locking and unlocking the doors with the key fromt he outside, and starting it.
