doubts on painting door panels...HELP
ok, im having doubts about weather or not to paint the top gray part of the door panels, because the material is flexable, i would think that since i am using krylon engine enamel it will just crack and peel after it hardens...anyone got any suggestions? so far all of the pieces i have painted have came off of my 89 "sx" so i didnt really worry about messing them p because they where nothing more than spares...but the door panels from a 88-89 will not fit the 90-91 so im very consirned considering that i dont have the money to replace the door panels if i do mess them up, what are your guy's thoughts on this?

Well, first off, i'd buy Vynal Paint since you're painting VYNAL parts. And if you DO screw it up, you can just SAND THE PAINT OFF, or use some Paint stripper, just dont let it stay on for too long, and rub it off.....

I used Vynal Paint on my interior when i did it on my 88DX, and it came out great!!! all you need is like 5 or 6 THIN coats and its all good. no need for clear coat or anything, and it wont scratch off either, but make sure u use VYNAL PAINT!
