v6 engine

havin a beer with the guys the other night we got on to the subject of v6 engines .would i be right assuming that buick was the first to release them in a production car .but who 1st designed an built the v6 engine,an if at all possible what was the 1st car to run one if i,m wrong about the buick angle,cheers an beers ,morepork
