Someone in our club saw the original picture of this Xterra with a broken tie rod and thought it looked like one of those Chevron gas station cars that they're always selling. I couldn't resist the quick photoshop job. Apologies to the owner for hijacking their photo (I also wanted to test the file uploading on the new server).

It was a stock one I carried for a spare. The centerlink was toast and I had snapped an EOE tierod adjuster about 90 minutes prior to this one failing. At the time of the picture the adjuster is bent into a V. I did about 3 full turns of the steering wheel and it broke in two. I put in my last stock spare and called it quits for the day. Now I have the Calmini Steering and life is good.
