1st pix of the new CRX

Well, I got up and worked from 9am to 1pm on the CRX and I think I got a bit done, I got the entire front body work disassembled and even had time for an intake mod You can see all pix below (56k beware) but I thought I'd show ya a pic of my D15 (which runs excellent) with the new intake mod.

yeah, I'm really pleased with it, as soon as my next pay check rolls around I'm either going to get the fenders or the hood and bumper. cant really afford all four at the same time. the fenders are coming off of a 89 HB. I'm probably also getting the headlights too since one of mine is completely FUBAR. I was playing around with my good one and ya know what I found? IT FITS IN MY SEDAN! I dont know how good the corner lens would fit to it since I dont have any but it did fit in the EX just fine. I tried to swap the hood off of the EX but found out the hard way it wouldn't work.

Yeah..the headlights and stuff will fit...I hear the brackets are a li'l different, but the headlight housing itself is the same. So if you use the correct bracket, you should be OK.

You're gonna have issues with fenders and bumpers and stuff...from what I know, like the hood, the fenders/corners are all different between the hatchie/CRX/sedan.

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now

the hood and bumper are coming off of another CRX, but the fenders on that car are as bad as mine. the fenders from a hatch will fit but I will have to mod the front a bit to make the bumper fit (not too big of a deal) and I'll get the headlights off of the same car and get a set of clear corners (for that faux JDM look ) and I'll be completely set as far as lighting goes.

that teal CRX I've been talking about has a good hood and front bumper, they are making me a deal and letting me have both for $150. I've got the white/primer hood back on it for right now.

Thats cool then, BTW I shipped out your banner yesterday, and I think my friend has a C/F Auto Tranny shifter lying around somewhere, so I will see if I can get that to you

ok, that'll be cool! I'm getting your pedal covers and shifter knob as well as speaker grille packed up right now, this is the 1st chance I've had to get them packed.

how about a heated pressure washer? I'm going to clean it up soon, I've got a new valve cover that I'm going to paint white to match the exterior and replace the valve cover seal. remember, this is just day 1 of my project... I'd like to get the radiator replaced tomorrow (got the one from the EX already out) but it's kinda getting late and cold so I'm calling it a day on it already...

Congrats on the car, and dont worry, my D15 looked like that too hehe, i wanna try that intake mod or get a one piece one so i dont have the stock black pipe in there, as for the valve cover... if you want an anodized colour on it your gonna hafta polish the hell outta it first, its a pain in the ass, i tried mine and it looks like crap so i prolly gotta do it over again or just leave it cuz its still an improvement from the stock look hehe but mines anodized blue :sun:
