Not really much to celebrate this year, I'm afraid. Had a great girl, and got dumped by her less then two weeks ago, so a birthday lay is out. My best "friend with priviledges" option for getting some moved down to Maryland in the last year (I am not driving that far to get a piece), and my second best one went and got married on me!! The FBI refused to process my special agent application because I have too much of a history with drugs. And oh yeah, I am 26!!! Like there's anything good about being that age... so I think this will be a lame birthday..... AH WHO AM I KIDDING?!?! I'M GONNA CELEBRATE ANYWAY!!! :ylsuper Naki, and the rest of you all, in all honesty, thanks very much As I said in last year's thread (http://139.81.142.25/vbulletin/showt...5&pagenumber=1), it is very touching to be remembered and honored as such on your "special day." Awwww right, sorry I wasn't near a computer late last night to make an ass of myself in a birthday drunken stupor. Had a pretty good time last night.
I was supposed to catch a movie with a friend, but she was having an argument with a mutual friend of ours when I got over there, and we had been needing to catch up on things anyway, so we decided to blow off the movie and go someplace where we could eat and talk. Had a nice spaghetti and meatball dinner over a couple Coronas and Sam Adams Lights at The Red Plate in Hartford, followed by some scrumptuous desserts over champagne cocktails and kirs at Pastis, all accompanied by great conversation. Pretty loopy and 10:45 at this point, instead of walking back to her place to crash for the night, my buddy called me and told me he was on his way to Pig's Eye Pub and that we should meet up with him. So wound up pounding a Sambuka shot and a couple more beers there until we closed the bar just before 1 am. I did make a couple drunken yelling calls to AF peeps, but I was not able to make it on-line - sorry. Thanks again for all the well-wishing, my 26th was a great one!!! :sun:
