The Power of Honda!

I just thought I'd tell everyone about an interesting thing that happened to me yesterday.
Last night I towed my mom's 3/4 ton extended cab chevy truck home with my 91 Civic DX hatchback (1.5 liter engine rated at 92hp, 70lbs. tq.).
The clutch on my moms truck broke while she was in the Dallas area (texas) doing some shopping... she called me on my cell and told me what happened, so I ran home and got my tools and proceeded to drive the 60 miles to Dallas.
Got there and found it was nothing I was going to be able to fix in a mall parking lot. So we went and bought a towe rope, and hooked my civic and the truck together. She stayed in the truck to work the breaks and steer.
Boy was that nerve racking!
Was a pain trying to get to the highway through bunches of stop lights and traffic... but finally did... and although it took a while to get up to speed, my car pulled the truck fairly easily... I was deffinately amazed. The only time I had any trouble is when she let the truck role on top of the rope at a stop light, at which point I was wondering what the hell was wrong and was spinning tires trying to start up again... thought maybe she wanted something so I put the parking brake on and got out to see what the deal was... saw the rope was caught under the front left wheel... pushed the truck back a little bit off the rope... problem solved.
Got home safe and sound, and now I told my mom I'm going to slap a "Powered By Honda" sticker on her truck once I get it fixed.

Hell yea man!!!!!!!! And people don't think Honda's can haul big things. Thats hilarious about the sticker though. Also I wish I could have saw it when the rope was stuck....that would be funny...well the whole thing would be funny.

I once transported about 10 boxes filled solid full of books, each box must have weighed 50lbs if not more so thats literally like 500lbs from the front seats back and my wheels were tucking hardcore. It got around pretty damn well considering. My shocks weren't even blown or anything either. By the way DX has 89ft-lbs of torque, not 70.

Oops... my bad.

But yeah, I'm going to recreate at least the two vehicles being hooked together for a picture this weekend or something, whenever I have time to.
And the "Powered by Honda" sticker is already in the mail

that would be great to send to a mag or something, as like the most backwards thing ever.

and you get like an excursion or something behind the lil civic, with the sticker to make it even funnier.
