console lights!!!

hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me out with a little problem.

my problem is that when i turn on my lights the lights behind my clock and heater control go out. the lights in my gauge cluster are fine, it's just the ones in my temp control and clock that are backwards. i was just wondering what exactly i would have to do????? do i just rewire a few wires in the back of it? i figure someone must've just wired it up wrong, but i'm not sure.

thanks for any help in advance, isaac.

Well, when you turn on your headlights, the clock digits and most of the other interior lighting should dim, but not go out entirely... I would find out where the dimmer control is and work from there... Your guage lights are adjustable for dimming, but not the others.
