wasting your time

In all honesty, your wasting your time with that car. those cars run mid 16 sec. With all the bolt ons you can think of you won't even see mid 15sec. i'd sell that car and get a newer Z24 pre 2002 cavalier with the 2.4. the new ones are slow. the fastest years are 95-2001. I own a 2000 Z24 and its moded and its fast, 14.8 range. I'm not moching you i'm just trying to save you time and humiliation... My cars for sale if your interested. 10,500 as posted on autotrader. i'd crack u a deal since your a cavy guy.

OR

Heres another thought i had. if you really like your car and you don't wanna part with it, do an engine swap.. It would be real fast with a 3800 SC V6 from the grand prix. You can do the sway for a lot less than a new cavy. Maybe a quarter of the price. And with that lighter fram the 3800 should make your car do 14's easy, all day. Stock. You get a smaller pulley for the blower and couple of bolt ons and that car will be sick. I think the older cavy body styles look good.:ylsuper
