port tuning
how are ports tuned and does the box size matter? i know it has to do with the port length and tube width, but i dont know the specific calculations.

box size does matter when you tune the port. the calculation is rather hard. much better to get a program like WinISD and just punch in the box size, the freq. you want, the size of the port, and it'll calculate the length for you. i'd personally go with a retangular port because you'll get less port noise and the ports don't have to be LONG.
