Ls/vtec
I have a 1991 si and we are trying to install an ls/vtec engine we are wondering if the stock harnes from an SI crx can be modified to work with the ls/vtec or what do we need? if you can respond asap that will be great since we are working on it right now

so you have a LSVtec engine and dont know how to properly install it? LSVtec is not a setup to toy around with, its actually very complicated and takes money and the right person to build it, you can't just take a b18a block and slap a vtec head on it and expect it to run correctly! You have to rebuild it and match it up the right way. Well, had to let that out, sorry, and i can't help ya with the wiring, cause i dont know.....

no you can not use your si wiring harness, if you have enough money to get an ls vtec setup why don't you break the bank a little and buy the wiring harness. and a ls/vtec is not anything to be taken lightly, the littlest thing will make it fuck up

You can use your Si wiring harness but need to add wires for: 2nd O2, knock sensor, vtec solenoid etc...I'm assuming you're running your motor non obd and replaced your distributor with one from a 1st gen B16 and using either a PR3 or PWO ecu...
