Question Wheel hop

I've seen on evolutionm's site there is a DIY thing for fixing wheel hop by filling the motor mounts with windshield adhesive. I have heard about people doing this, but I want to know if anyone has actually tried it. Pro's, con's.....et al.
Just thought I'd ask.

Liquidlancer on em.net did his front mount and was satisfied. The rear is a bitch to get to and damn near impossible without a hoist.

Deyeme Racing also makes full replacement motor mounts for the Lancer with Urethane bushings if you want something that looks cleaning but costs a little more.

My bad, Hobie. I found 'em. I like the sound of those radiator brackets too. Might get me a pair when I get home. Thanks.

Yeah, they're nice. I've got a pair of the radiator brackets. They're not exactly gonna change much, but they're cheap and they look nice (and the get a lot less mushy under heat than the stock rubber ones).

So, what's your advice? Would you get flex ones, firm ones or one of each? Am I correct in believing that there are only two mounts? I forgot to look. I only had my car a week before I left.

Thanks.

One front, one back. Good luck installing the rear mount on your own unless you have some knowledge of the install and a hoist. Front should be relatively easy.

I'd suggest flex, but not from experience. I just flipped a coin.

Thanks. Hope I have experience. I'm a mechanic and I've changed a few motors in my time.
