Thermostat change resulting in electrical problem
I changed the thermostat on my 1986 CRX SI. Once I got the housing back on and everything hooked up properly, I tried to start the car and it did not start. I thought I broke the ground wire that hooks up directly to the housing. I replaced those wires and the cor will still not turn over. There is an electrical problem somewhere, but I am not sure where to look. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

You changing your thermostat has nothing to do with the car's starting
problem. However you must have accidentally unplugged the starter seliniod. Check that all your wires are conected properly. Did you get your thermostat directly from Honda? If not, you are running a thermostat which opens at a higher temperature. This is not good. If you have any more questions, go to www.redpepperracing.com/forum This is a 1G CRX/3G Civic forum that has more traffic. j

I kept going over and over my work and found the loose starter wire. I must have knocked it loose when I was done around there. I have big hands so that was the problem. Plugged that back in and everything works fine now. Thanks for your help, anyway.
