Hey all, well my integra was totalled not long ago you can see pics here..... http://www.clanlapd.com/car/baby.html
Well looks like I get some insurance money and I would like to lower it alittle not too much. Something nice and stiff and real clean. I was lookin at Eibach and Neuspeed which were really expensive and lowered to where I think I want it at around 1.2 - 1.3. There are also some Comptech springs that lower to 1.25 which cost around $180 or so. Is it worth it to pay $180 for comptech springs vs neuspeed or eibach which are around $240? Any comments or advice is welcome thanks for your time. And another thing, I've herd some bad stuff about short shifters etc. What do you guys think about them are they harmful what should I watch for? Should I even bother? etc etc Thx again. |

wow i seriously doubt that is totalled
unless you went to a gay body shop that is hooked up with the insurance company to just SAY that its totalled, because they'll SAY its totalled, insurance will take it, and fix it for real cheap, then sell it as new on ebay or something get a new bumper, hood, drivers side fender, headlights, shouldnt cost more than $1500, you could even replace those with good stuff like a body kit and carbon fiber hood but its up to you on whether you want to keep it i especially dont think its totalled because its the newer model which costs more and the definition of totalled is "repairs cost more than value of the car" heh i hit a deer with mine too, my window was iced up and i didnt have a scraper so i was sticking my head out the window until it defrosted and i couldnt see the deer till it was too late, it pushed in my headlight like half an inch and thats it, killed the deer too (hit it at like 40 mph) |

i can tell you from experience that a hood, fender, and headlight cost $635 roughly...the bumper shouldnt go more than $400. the car doesnt look totalled...but i cant see inside the engine either. some of those inner fender walls can run you some pretty descent money. i think around 600 just for the front bumper support and the front inner wall...plus some guy is going to put it in your bum with the welding and frame bender...trust me i know. i went to one guy and he told me $2500, then i went to another anf he told me 1200...look around, you might get some good prices. but it doesnt look totalled, the windshield looks good and the airbags didnt go off...whats all that plastic in the window?
i hit a deer with mine and i think mine looks worse. i think you can fix it. and if it wasnt your fault that bitch can pay for everything...

my sis in her 97 ls went under a suv once. it was on ice and she just slid right under the back end. well the the whole front end was pretty messed up. we had to get a whole new front bumper fenders and hood plus new raidiator. it was like $5000 bucks to get repaired (insurance paid for it) and the people she ran into, since the worked at the place the bougth it at, only paid $8 bucks for some little peice of plastic. it was much worse than that. you can get that fixed. I wish I had pics. the hood was scrunched all up almost to the windsheild. was the engine even hit in your crash?
