Wierd about the car

when i go to drive my car it start up right away but after i drive it for like 20 mintues and comeback home to get something i go back i to start the car again it won't start it turns over really really fast like it wants to start but it doesn't start until like 15-20 minutes later it's a 1988 Civic 4door.

this might be the problem or not. before you turn the key to start it you need to turn the key to off, and pull it out untill you hear a click noise. what that does is it resets the computer. just try it and reply back with what happened.

i didn't notice a click maybe it's just me

could be a main realy starting to act up. Once it gets hot the solder cracks and doesnt get a good contact to turn the fuel pump on.You can buy a new one at a honda dealership, or just remove it and look at the circuit board inside with a magnifying glass. Any soldered points that have a little ring around them need to be heated up and a little new solder dripped on them...hope this helps and fixs your problem...

I'm with Gunnmen on this one, it's your main relay, a very common problem with our cars.

Mine does the same thing... at first it was the starter so I replaced it with a new starter... hmm gotta get that checked out.
