Chrysler Lebaron

does anyone think that any series of the Chrysler Lebaron is a head turner or a hot car for that matter????? I know a guy who blabs so much about how his red lebaron just gets complimented on its beauty. Like to get the board's opinion.

Beauty is in the eye of the holder.

Myself, I dont care for them. In fact, there is one in town here that is slammed, with all sorts of stickers and nasty spray paint on it.

I had a friend that had an 88-90 and it was in nice condition, but had nothing but problems with digital gauges and displays, burned more oil than gas, and just sucked as far as the motor was concerned. No the turbo lebaron is not cool either, they usually have more problems. That is just my opinion, from my experience with the car, but hey who am I.

my question

was about appearance. Thats why I asked if it was hot or a head turner. I didn't mention anything about performance. I think I would have specified that stangman---if I was interested in getting opinions on performance.

Don't get your tail feathers all ruffled, I was just saying my opinion on the car, I did not mean to offend you, obviously I did somehow, lets just start over.

My friends was bright red with lots of chrome. It was 88-89, and had leather and all digital display, fully loaded. It was a nice car, looked good, but the fact that nothing seem to work right made it a peice of Sh*t in my opinion, I did like all the plastic chrome, it did look nice when all shined up. I do not think of it as a head turner or show stopper just because it was clean. My friend loved it, and he to thought it was sent from God as the best thing around.

not offended

I don't see how you can deduce that I seemed offended. You didn't say anything offensive. I just restated---what I clearly stated in my question about the Lebaron. I was being sarcastic ----- and my response was total sarcasm. If I was offended: I would have said----stop being a $%% or thats not what I said you *&#!. If I seem too technical--its because I'm a precise human being---and I don't tend to generalize about things. I like precision.

Again my bad for not understanding you. You are correct you did not ask for any info about performance or mechanics, you are again correct now that I re-read your post it does sound like sarcasm.
I was just giving a general opinion on the car, and did not specifically answer your question. I don't mind precise people, I am usually one of them.

Well, in a forum like this, you ask about a certain car, you are going to get any and all opinions. Whether you ask for them or not. It's something that you have to learn to live with.
