transmission conversion?
Is it possible to convert a 99 civic auto tranny to a stick tranny??? And how much would it dent my wallet???

Its possible and done quite often. If you are having a mechanic do it you might expect to pay around a grand give or take. Do a search on the net and you should come up with some price figures are give a shop that does motor swaps a call. They could prob do it a little cheaper.

 Hey guys, I've been wondering the same thing for a loooong time. I have an 89 civic, auto and I want to swap a b16 with manual. I've been trying to ask around but most people told me that it's not worth thre trouble to do a tranny swap but, personally, I hate driving automatic. plus i want a faster car. Does anyone else have opinions on price and is it worth it? I would get it done right with the swap. thanks for any help anyone can give me
