To hear how a transmission grinds just try and shift into a gear without the clutch haha, you may have gotten your spark plugs or dizzy wet. Itll take a few hours for them to dry off. Theyre electrical so of course no spark when wet.

take off your distributer cap and dry everything off, then put it back on, i have this problem every time i go to the car wash and wash my engine, as far as you engine grinding, you would be able to hear it and/or feel it thru the shifter, when your tranny is grinding it has a distinctly different vibration thru the shifter than normal road driving vibrations

Thanx for the watered down help

I think my transmission makes noises when I move my shifter from side to side and when I’m about to shift into second and the same with third

Get new shifter stabalizer bushings because it sounds like you might have too much play of your shifter. It only costs like 10 bucks and you can install them yourself.
