12's in a civic coupe
How many 12 inch subs could i put in the trunk of a 98 civic coupe without sacrificing the entire trunk space? and wut subs would u recommend for under 175 each sub?

Actually i wanan know what you think the best 12's for 200 and under are. Im looking for subs that are gonna be loud as hell and can shake da car and da neighbourhood. I listen to mostly songs wit deep bass and reggae (ie. Dj Magic Mike & Sean Paul). What type of Box would be best.

i dont know about under 200 bux but could probally put like 2 or 3 or u could take out the backseat and make a bigass box there with like 8 subs

I mean 200 for each sub and I want to keep my backseat, otherwise i would get a 2 seater car. I was thinking of putting 3 or 4 subs in a bandpass or ported box in a false trunk floor after removing the spare tire. Ne ideas about that?

i dont know if u can get the many in your spare tire well and that kinda sucks to not have a spare tire u could probally get a 3 or 4 in a sealed box along the back of your civic, maybe u should get 10's
i heard 10's are better then 12's and they are cheaper

Would 10's be able to produce the type of bass im looking for? What would be the best way to have the subs facing? Towards the front of the car or towards the trunk? If you have any pictures it would be great
 . Also its a coupe not a hatch so i have a little more space.

what i have heard 10's hit harder then 12's
all the systems i have installed for my friends have bein facing outwards cept for 1 cause he wanted it facing the inside of the car maybe facing the inside of the car is better i'm not sure

how about um infinity, kicker, rf is pretty good, audiobahn there is alot just look around like on ebay and shit

im always on ebay checkin prices and watts and stuff, but reading doesnt tell u how it would sound. I wanted to go crazy and put like 8 kicker comp vr's in the trunk but that isnt happening. I was thinkin b4 about maybe 3 12 inch audiobahns. Either the Flame ones or alum's?

before u go out and buy all these subs and amps u better upgrade ur alternator or u gonna pay for it later. and if u want some thump get a kove armageddon its expensive but they will bump.

what kind of uprgrading to my electrical system would i need? How Expensive are you talking? like over 500 a sub?
 . So far i have a panasonic 602u deck, jvc 6.5 in the front and JVC 6x9 in the rear deck. Is there anything i could do to allow more bass to come from the trunk to the cabin without putting the seats down?

ummm u dont need anything really just hook the amp up to the deck then run the wire to the battrie
i always go to circut city and buy their wire kit it is like everything u need buy your subs on ebay that is what i'm going to do getting 2 for the price of one 1 10 alone is going to hit hard it is amazing, so u want like 4? or what the expansive shit is the amp and the sound deading stuff for your trunk unless u like that annoying rattle i dont think u need to put your seats down and face it towards your cabin

alright if u are going to buy like 4 subs u are going to need massive power to feed all of them. i have almost the same setup as u ihave the panasonic 602 and i have fosgate components up front and 3 way 6x9 rockford in the back. i have a 200 watt amp pushing my highs and mids for that and right now my bass is missing because my car has been broken into too many times so i am not putting in any subs yets. but when i had my 2 ma audio 12's in there ina sealed box with the ma audo 1300 watt amp my lights dimmed and i think i damaged my electrical system now because my windows role up slow even when i have no music on. u need to upgrade ur alternator to atleast 120 amps. i also had 2 farad digital cap on my system and it didn't do anything. so what ever u read or thinking about doing with ursystem consider a high amp alternator first. with my setup i hit 148 db with 1 blown sub. any thing else be free to ask
