02 v6 accord vs z24 and civic lx

ok me and my boy are cruisin around in the v6 accord hes driving, we come to a stoplight with this z24 with 3 nerdy dudes in it just lookin for a race, we do the lookin thing then the light turns green and they are spinnin and pushin it hard my friend is sittin there in no rush just gently catchin up meanwhile they are still pushin it we catch up and my friend stomps is and we fly past them while they are still pushin it and i was laughing so hard they were trying so hard and he was barely pushing it

2nd race against the 92-95 civic lx were goin along and we see this guy he thinks hes bad with his lx with a muffler and intake everything else is stock he rev's it up while were next to him he revs it up and takes off my friend is tryin to stay with him so he could walk him acouple times i felt him take his foot off the gas just to slow down so he could stay with this guy i was laughin my ass off again he finally pushes it and we pass them up with ease then he does the ricer fly by and goes on his merry way thinkin he just kept up with a v6 accord, nothing special just some stories to keep this forums lively.....

The V6 in the accord is pretty solid. It can hold its own against most cars and certainly take the ones you talked about. Glad you guys had fun.

oh yea, this wasent really a race but we were at a stoplight with 80's style corvette and turned green we both went and go alittle faster and faster and they both punched it at like the same exact time it was good they were neck and neck and then the guy in the vette let off he was with his wife so....i dunno if we would have beat it or what cuz we didnt hit vtec and im not sure about the top end pull on the vettes

If it was an well tuned '85 C4, you would of lost immediately.

They were the first year of the TPI 5.7l which had 330hp Stock. People were killing themselves in the cars cause it had too much power. So in '86 they detuned the car to have around 280hp.

But thats only one year you have to watchout for hehe... Of course with them being the age that they are... they'll all most likely have miles on them so they're not that peppy... I personally think a well tuned C4 vette of any year would rip on a V6 Accord. But like I said they've got miles on them and most likely have been beat to the ground... Makes them fair game .

Good job..

Good kill on the first, though the second one is really a foregone conclusion (Accord against stock Civic?). But then...I killed two Accords with my set-up. No contest--they just fell behind. And both initially tried to race...

Redneck, this has to do w/ whats in your sig.

Why is it that you say a 97 Type R does 0-60 in 7 when all the stuff I have seen says around 6.3-6.2?

i dunno if they were that much slower back then, cuz a my gsr is rated at 15.2-3 stock, so i really doubt the 97 Type R, is gonna be that much slower. my friens' type r hands me my ass stock, an i kno that the 2000-2001, were rated at 14.7 stock. i dun't kno if its jus a mix up in the stats or wut, but s'all good i guess.
