Post Put your say in, for the Classifieds thread

hey kris i wanted to comment on the classifieds thread. I think that the classifieds thread is okay, but i always thought it was easier to just post a new thread if you had something for sale, or wanted. The reason i like just posting a new thread is because other members can comment on your price, or can correct your ad if you labeled something wrong. i dont think it was that big of a deal to have people just post a new thread when they wanted to sell or buy something. I think you should keep the classified thread but allow people to post new threads (meaning dont lock the thread) if they want to. just a suggestion.

thanks

whats the point of the classified thread if we allow people to just make new threads??? By the way, if this is straight towards Kris... it belongs in a PM not in the forum.

Well, this is for everyone then. Should we ditch the classifieds thread, or allow classified threads to be posted in here.

i think the single threads for a sellers item not one hugh one it gets u to the point and u dont have to look thru the whole classified thread for an item

I agree it is more simple to post a thread.

honestly I think it's easier to post individual items for sale instead of one huge classifieds thread or getting blasted for needing something in a mass classifieds forum. Personally I've been looking for a few items and I've gotten no response.

Maybe nobody has what you're looking for?

Anyways, post away with what you want. Unless the mods of this forum disagree.

I think the classified thread is good, it just needs to be cleaned. Items no longer for sale or sold need to be deleted.

I also like the classifieds thread. Personally, I check it daily to look for new posts. I think it actually makes things easier because if you need something, you know exactly where to look. This way you dont have to go through looking for specific threads, its all in one spot all the time. Just my thoughts.

I agree with plkelly. Classified thread is good, just when you have sold whatever you put on there, go delete your post. just set some rules to it
