You wouldn't want to lose a ball in the sand trap. Or the water trap for that matter...

I could go on...

In golf...

... a Monica is a putt that rolls around the lip but doesn't fall into the hole...

... I spend a lot of time grinding away for four and a half hours and final get to sink the last hole...

... unfortunately, a lot of other people have already used the hole but I'm always glad when I do sink it...

... there are places that a out of bounds, water hazards and sometimes internal out of bounds...

... I can play a flop legitimately to get close to the hole...

... I get very tired playing the back nine at my home course as it's often very hilly...

... When things get really boggy or wet... I am allowed relief from an embedded lie....often the local rules allow me to clean and place otherwise I have to play the lie...

... and sometimes the course is closed for maintenance...
