Block Guards.

Question for anyone out there. At what point would block gaurds be needed?

they hold the tops of your cylinders from moving under heavyload... like a high boost application or such...

If your rebuilding your motor and trying to get some good horsepower out of it, while you have the head off put one in there...there only like $100 or so....it would be easier to put in while its apart than add it in later...

Yeah. Well, that one is $80, so I was kind of curious if it is worth it to slap in, while the block is at the machine shop. Or forget about it.

where can I pick one up, I may be interested in one for my first rebuilt/modded engine. I've never seen one before in any of the catalogs I've looked through
