What a difference
I took out my sub a week ago, and I was happy at first. the car seemed to pickup alot faster than before. But after a few days, Damn, I missed the bump. So, I put the sub back in. But instead of facing it toward the back, like I had it before, I faced it toward the front. I heard that it's not as loud if you face it to the front, and it's true, not as loud, but loud enough. and 90% of the rattling I had before is gone. The trunk doesn't shake, the rear deck doesn't shake. So I am happy. just thought I would share that cuz I know more than anybody how that rattling can piss you off

right idea there..
if you face the sub rearward, it bounces the soundwaves off the rattly stuff, like the decklid... there is more bump that way, b/c mine did the same when i turned it around... i dint have a crossover set up correctly though, so my highs came through the subs, so i had to turn them back around... now i got some nice six and a halfs all around, so i ditched the subs and got hella quicker... |

I had crappy speakers when I amped em, so if I get nice speakrs, I will consider amping them again, and gettin rid of the sub. How was the bump when you amped nice speakers?
