Newbie here :)
Hi guys, I've been reading this forum for a bit now, and I must say, you guys do some AMAZING work
I've been making models for many yrs now, and I didn't even know there would be forums out there like this one for people like us to exchange some thoughts... good job anyhow, here are some images of my latest work (modifying the Fujimi Mugen Integra Type-R) 1st of all, the kit is POORLY made, its basically a regular Integra Type-R kit with some add ons.. so fitment was UGLY.. 1st thing I did was cut out the regular bumper and mold in the MUGEN one.. (note: this model kit is the older version of the Mugen Type-R, which did not have a hood scoop, so i went ahead and cut put one in ) |

then I use some Tamiya Putty to make the reminder of the hood scoop,
after the putty dries, some sanding was done then I use the Mr. Surface 500 liquid putty to fill in the holes and stuff.. after further sanding and priming, here's the producted so far ![]() |

Welcome to AF!
Thanks for joining us! ![]() I have the very same kit, and I totally agree about the fitment isses for the exrta parts. The piece that fills the hole between the headlights might as well have been a cat turd. ![]() I'm actually planning on grafting in the B18 engine from the Revell 1/25 Integra Type R kit. So, I was also planning on making the same modifications to the hood, except I'll have the convienence of removing the hood from the body first. Your photos are definately helpful. Excellent work. :flash:What color will yours end up being? Mine's going to be black with red highlights. Red "H" emblems (of course), red "R" decals (also of course), red interior touches, red coilovers, etc. ![]() Unfortunately for me, the complexity of my kitbashing project has put it in the middle of an ever-growing "to-do" pile. ![]() Please, keep us posted. And feel free to show off the rest of your collection... |

Thanks for the warm welcome
![]() my teg will be white with red front seats and black interior (just like my regular integra type-r) and I have a SPOON integra type-r comming in as well, which will also be white... I think the 3 of them together will be very cool that's why i'm doing them all white..I also have a BIG pile of "to finish up" model kits man.. list goes on.. i have like 3-4 1/2 finish or almost finished kits sitting on my display cabinet right now... have to get them done some time heeheeI'll post pictures of my past work later.. those are on real photos, and i have to scan them... too lazy now.. heehee |

My only in-progress kits are the NSX I had to re-start and the S2000 that, well, look at the link in my sig.
![]() Other than those, I have 6 kits other than the Integra project to get to... |

I think Guiddy went to bed already...
He was actually the one that told me about this site.. we both own honda preludes and we met at one of the prelude forums ... one day, i was bored, and just bought a digital camera, and started going happy taking pictures of my model kits and putting them up the net, so he gave me a link to this site... |

Yup, that is a $10 coin alright
.. but it's in Hong Kong currency. it works out to about $2 Cdn... it came out a few yrs before the Canadian $2 coin was released, so I always wondered if the toonie's design was taken from that... the basically look the same, but the tennie is smaller and thicker.. |
