Pics of my own

:sun: New to the fourm, i've owned my avalon since 96, and just recently got another in 2000. Im serious about driving, i drive hard and fast and surprisingly since the day i got my license these cars (Avalons) have been able to keep up with me and many others (Including high-end luxury sports cars) as well. My info is in my sig, im working on pics of both of my cars until then enjoy these.

Welcome to the forum Kro$s, good to see other avalon owners that's into the aftermarket game. It seems to be very hard to get aftermarket parts for the avalon besides a wing and some tint.

Sorry GUZZY but I don't have a digital cam to post pics.

Thumbs up Glad 2 be here

Thanks for the welcome, yes it is nearly impossible to get parts that are made specifically for the Avalon. Your best bet looking for parts would be to get Camry ones, because the parts are interchangable (most at least i.e. intakes, exhausts, engines, tranny's, lighting). I'll post a few sites where you can get some goodies, just let me know what you all are interested in.

I want to change my front to a 98 wit the fogs and HID's, put some 20" wheels, a drop, and 3- TV's. So far I have clear lights, 16" chrome lexus wheels, and a system. My system is a double din 200 watt jensen, 3- 10" MTX 4000's, and a 600 watt kenwood. I know my wants are a bit much but, like a fine wine just give me time.

Info

Sounds good, your going to do a little hunting for the front end, but it wont be that difficult to find, check junk/salvage yards first.

So far as your rims are concerned you might want to check out this site before you throw 20's on, i suggest 18's with i drop at most but our cars are "custom" and this is just FYI. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Best place to get rims hands down would be www.wheelmax.com

I already found my parts at a website with really cheap parts. Trying to finding our car parts at a junk yard was a joke, I had no luck.
About the 20" rims being too big, I realize that my speed readings will be off but it's only like 2 mph off. I am willing to take my chances with my off speed reading for that lexus look on the 20"s. Plus I already had a honda accord with 18's and a drop. I got the avalon because I knew that I could put 20" wheels with a 245/35/20 tire. I am pushing to get my rims by april, maybe by then I'll also have a digital cam to post pics. For my drop I plan to use Eibach pro-kit springs for a camry which is a 1" drop. I figure since the avalon is heavier it will drop down about 1.2" or 1.3".

That's what I was going to ask also. Guzzy if ur talking about the clear front bumper lenses, then ur not going to beable to find them because no one makes them for our cars. I had to make my own clear lenses.

Actually thats not quite true Stef, the ones made for the Carmy's will fit our cars.

Does it have to be any modifications done to the lense to make it fit? Also I'm have trouble finding the fog lights for the 98 avalon and I'm trying to avoid going to toyota.
Speaking of toyota, I went on a interview yesterday to be a toyota car sales men. Things went so well that I'm meeting the sales leader and the general manager for lunch on Monday. Wish me luck.
