That night we ran a 15.1 second 1/4 mile, which was pleasing but not enough. Since that last run I got a CAI and had my computer upgraded by Jet Performance, we also played with the timing a bit, and hopefully after changing out the rims and tires, we should be pulling low 14's and if were lucky high 13's. 12's are my goal. I started out in the high 17's, so we are making good progress.

I plan on redoing the internals as well as putting Type S cams in, and I think that should break us into mid to low 13's. To hit 12's it should be just a matter of extensive weight reduction. I hope. I don't want no turbo, supercharger or nos, just wanna keep it clean and ALL motor..

good luck. this + slicks

Engine Block: '93 H22a "bored and stroked" to 2.44ltrs of displacement built by Collective Racing. Custom 98mm Crank (Balanced and nitrited), Darton sleeves, Crower Pro-billet rods, Custom 12/1 compression 89mm JE pistons, Prodrive oil pump, Unorthodox Racing Crank pulley, manual timing belt tensioner conversion.

Cylinder head: Ported and polished by Collective Racing, Web Cams custom camshafts, Web Cams springs and Titainium retainers, Euro Type R manifold conversion, Hondata intake manifold gasket, Erick's Racing 70-68mm Throttle body, RC engineering 440cc Fuel injectors, B&M fuel pressure riser and Guage, STR cam seal, AEM cam gears, SMSP 4-1 header, ARP head studs, SCE copper head gasket.

Misc: JDM "blue" valve cover, Dyna Batt 11lb. battery, Nology coil, AEM 3" cold air intake, Apexi VAFC, AEM underdrive pulleys.

gets you 13.2 in a lighter 4th gen. I think its going to require much more work then you are thinking to get into the 12's. Also you have to consider suspension and other aspects besides just making power.

Your only about 200lbs lighter on curb weight, stock. What kind of weight reduction have you done? Is it extensive? Mine will be very extensive. Everything will be fiberglass and carbon fiber except for the unibody. The hood, fenders, trunk, doors. I will removable door panels and a dash insert. Lots of metal will be cut and scrapped. Do you have a 2dr or a 4dr? I know of a guy who has a 4dr 96 and he's running 12.4's All Motor. Now I don't know what hes got done cause he wont tell or show anyone. I've heard rumors of what he has, but I don't know if theres any truth to it. He has something going on in there, no sounds of a turbo and the smell of nos does not exist. So I know it can be done. To be honest I would really be happy just to be in the 13's. That I forsee within the next few months. You got any pics of your car? I would like to check it out.. Peace!
